Senior Safety Seminar with Lori Fullbright

With the recent number of assaults on seniors in their homes being reported in the local media, personal safety is more on the minds of everyone in the community, but especially seniors who can tend to be more vulnerable.

RSVP of Tulsa has invited News on 6 Crime Reporter Lori Fulbright to speak to seniors about personal safety on Monday, September 22nd from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon at the Woodlake Assembly of God Church, 7100 E. 31st Street in Tulsa (located on the South side of 31st St. between Sheridan and Memorial).

Lori will demonstrate various ways to protect yourself from assault not only in your home or walking in your neighborhood, but also while out shopping or socializing with friends.  Since many seniors volunteer their time, she will also include tips that seniors should be aware of regarding their surroundings and issues to look for that might arise from serving diverse populations within the community.  The seminar is FREE, but seating is limited.

For more information or to register your attendance, call (918) 280-8656 or email the RSVP Tulsa office.
