Power Up!
Volunteers stay connected to loved ones, our community, information and technology through opportunities to learn and teach in the Power Up! computer classes held at computer labs at Tulsa Public School’s Fulton Teaching and Learning Academy (map), An assortment of very basic beginning classes and intermediate level speciality classes are held.

Power Up! Plus+
Reintegrating ex-offenders in Department of Corrections custody learn job skills and budget management in Power Up! Plus+ computer classes at St. Luke’s Methodist Church in collaboration with Redemption Ministries and Williams Companies technology volunteers.  RSVP volunteers are program computer teachers and assistants. Power Up! Plus+ is funded by a Corporation for National and Community Service volunteer grant.

Volunteer teachers assist in the development of all curriculum for the Basic Beginning Computer Combo classes, six-week, 2 hours each week learning and teaching sessions. Special programming and individual classes were developed specifically for the Power Up! Plus+ classes in partnership with Williams Companies technology volunteers who taught “Teach the Teacher” classes to RSVP volunteers.

Contact RSVP at 280-8656 or sherry@rsvptulsa.org to register and enroll for a computer-learning class for yourself, or to volunteer to teach or be a teach assistant at Power Up! or Power Up! Plus+.
