Many opportunities abound for the senior who wants to give back and stay active in northeast Oklahoma, and Creek County is full of volunteer opportunities. Whether you would like to work at the police department, in a literacy program for children or get together with other seniors to exercise, County Coordinator Lafaune Krampf can get you connected and get you started!  There are volunteer opportunities at Senior Centers, Hospital Gift Shops, Historical Museum, Library, Chamber office, all health agencies, ARC, DVIS, Camp Fire and many others.

Volunteer Opportunities

(Sep 13)  DVIS (Domestic Violence Intervention Services)
If you live in Sapulpa or on the south or west sides of Tulsa County, there is an immediate need for RSVP volunteers to help answer phones at the DVIS counseling office in Sapulpa at 424 E. Hobson, the former jail location. You can choose one-half day per week or a whole day if you choose.  Your time and service will be much appreciated and will free the time of counselors to spend their time serving clients in need. Call RSVP if you have an interest. Thank you!
