Our RSVP Volunteer Coordinator will call you to schedule a mutually convenient time to meet to talk about your personal interests, experience, and the type of time and service contribution that will be rewarding to you.

You will be given a choice of volunteer and service opportunities that meet both the needs of the agency requesting volunteer service as well as your personal needs and volunteer objectives. Please be advised that some agencies and some volunteer positions, for example those that involve working with children and in schools, will require criminal background checks.

After you choose a volunteer position, RSVP will refer you to a representative of the agency who requested volunteer service. The requesting agency will provide training, and on-going information and support for your volunteer job.

You are not able to begin volunteering at this time? We would like you to become an RSVP member and, therefore, eligible for the free Supplemental Auto Liability Insurance that provides insurance coverage for volunteers while traveling to and from and during volunteer assignments. When you are ready to begin a volunteer assignment, you will have all the paperwork completed and be ready to go. Membership also includes receipt of the quarterly RSVP Newsletter and you can enroll in the free Power Up! computer classes after you begin actively volunteering.

You may volunteer for as many jobs as you have time for and RSVP will give you many rewarding and challenging choices to socialize, meet new friends, learn, and serve!
